This was an assignment to create a poster for a fictional event using only typography, color, and basic graphics. I decided to make a poster for a local arts and crafts fair, and used colors and graphics reminiscent of the 1970s so as to interest both the older crowd who would have nostalgia for that time and the younger people in Bellingham who frequently enjoy vintage and retro aesthetics.
